The Monophobia PC!

These shots of the overworked ''Monophobia HQ'' computer were used for the cover of the belatedly packaged 1998 Monophobia single Cybersexy Computerlove.  The PC was built in the spring of 2000 at a cost of £1000 and became a star in its own right having been used for the design and printing of all the Monophobia CD packaging, mastering the Monophobia CDs, duplicating the CDRs, recording and mixing some of the songs, and of course all the Monophobia websites.
It finally went irreversibly computer senile sometime during early 2003 and has now been relegated to a sort of oversized CD player/word processor hybrid in the Quintons' living room.

Steve Pelly and Phil Quinton first met in 1991 at West Herts College in Watford.  Steve was the rapper in student rap/rock band A Space + A Half.  Phil engineered some crude recordings of the band (both live and in the studio) in 1992/93 and joined the band on vocals for a few rehearsals (co-writing with Steve) a month or two before the band split in summer 1994.  Steve did some solo recordings under the name Mr. Dogbite in 1994, and has since gigged with other bands around London.  Steve and Phil had been meaning to do some recordings together since then and finally got a few tracks together in 2002 which may well go out in lo-fi punk packaging under the simpler name ''Dogbyte'' with some newer tracks in 2003.
