The first recording sessions for Mickey Winn's UK band The Shady Grove were practically a Monophobia side-project with Phil Quinton and Dave Bateman providing the rhythm section of the band.  Dave scarpered before Phil could take any photos of him.  Chris Gregory had nothing to do with The Shady Grove but has recorded and co-written two versions of Indian Summer with Monophobia (in 1999 and 2000) plus several other versions with other people (including Mr Winn) and this is the only shot we have of him.

 

My best memory of this recording is the dreamy sound of BJ's pedal steel and stuffing my face with excellent sushi courtesy of Mike!
